Chef Steven Oatis was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, he attend Oakland
Community College Culinary Arts Program.
While in Detroit he worked at some of the
best restaurants in town, Detroit Athletic Club and Opus One.
He moved to New York City in the winter of 2000, finding work at
some of New York City’s great company such as Restaurant Associates and
Old Homestead Steak House, the oldest steak house in New York City.
With over 20 years of culinary arts experience and over twelve years of
management experience in fine dining restaurants, casual dining and
cafeterias.
